The basement is real.
It's just waiting to be found.

There's an old story about a basement beneath the Alamo. Supposedly it's full of treasure. Or secrets. Or something somebody definitely doesn't want you to find. The tour guides will tell you it doesn't exist. We think the tour guides are in on it.
Alamo Basement was built on the assumption that the best things about San Antonio are the things nobody put on a brochure. Custom-wrapped vending machines stocked with themed mystery bags, local art, handmade goods, enamel pins, vintage treasures, oracle cards, DIY art kits, and carefully curated oddities — dropped into the kinds of places worth hanging around.
Every machine accepts credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Everything inside is priced between $5 and $30. Nothing random. Nothing generic. Just the real, strange, wonderful stuff San Antonio inspires.
Come find us.
What's inside
Everything in the machine is priced between $5 and $30 — designed for impulse, sized for your pocket, and chosen for your curiosity. Every machine accepts all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
"Curated for the curious. built for the community"

Curiosities
The good stuff. Enamel pins, sticker packs, patches, postcards, tarot readings, oracle cards, blind box toys, and carefully selected curiosities that earned their place in the machine. Priced for impulse. Chosen for character.

Mystery Bags
You won't know what's inside until you open it. That's the whole point. Each bag is carefully curated around a theme — pull one from the machine, open it on the spot, and see what the basement decided you needed today.

Art Kits
Our handmade DIY art kits and creative experience kits give you everything you need to make something genuinely cool. Designed with San Antonio's creative spirit in mind. No experience necessary.

Local Art
San Antonio has one of the most vibrant and underrated art scenes in the country. We're doing something about that. Every machine carries original work from local artists, chosen for character and placed where curious people already gather. When you buy local art from our machine you're supporting the people who give this city its soul.

Vintage Finds
Rescued from obscurity. Given a second life. Vintage paperback books, VHS tapes, CDs, cassettes, and physical media pulled from estate sales, thrift stores, and the edges of living memory. Curated for character. Each one has a history. Each one waiting for the right person to take it home.
Get on the list
We're launching soon. Machine locations. Exclusive drops. Basement Society membership. Mystery bag releases. All of it announced here first — before Instagram, before anywhere else.
